Day 227. This is day 227 of my project, but at least day 1,000 of looking out of my window and seeing this view. This is the exact same spot as Day 219… on that day, the storm was just moving in, low, and loud, and full of energy and potential. Today, you can just see another storm exiting stage left, chased away by the warmth of the sun at the end of the afternoon. In 1,000 days I have never seen the same view twice. Do we not live in a beautiful world, if only we take the time to see it?

365 Project: Day 225
365 Project: Day 224
Day 224… is it only photographers who see dark foreboding alleyways, covered in ‘Do Not Enter’ / ‘Private Property’ / ‘Keep Out’ signs, and immediately want to see what’s down the end?
365 Project: Day 223
Day 223. Went shopping with my lovely wife this afternoon… and for once I followed my own advice and made sure I kept my camera with me. Only took one series of shots, but one’s enough!
365 Project: Day 222
Day 222.
I seen the demons
But they didn’t make a sound
They tried to reach me
But I lay upon the ground
I seen the people
But they didn’t make a sound
They tried to reach me
But I gave the run-around
I reached for feelings
But they didn’t make a sound
They tried to reach me
But I lay upon the ground
So
Miles and miles of squares
Where’s the feeling there?
Still nobody cares
For miles and miles of squares

365 Project: Day 220
Day 220… all wrapped up! Any Launcestonians out there care to offer their conjecture as to the location of this secretive shot?

Day 218. Sometimes there’s nothing I like more than a good book and a warm fire, except perhaps for a warm book and a good fire.
