20/20 Project: Day 7, Tasmania

Day 7. Tasmania.

In the dunes, there are a hundred shades of white, and the wind paints their names into the dry sand with spindly leaf brushes. It’s a sparse language, whispering only in the essence of things: their lines, shapes, textures; their form but not their character. I have much to learn here, and I am just beginning to hear.

  1. Wonderful Minimalism, Tim!!! Maybe you do have much to learn, maybe we all do, but with something like this near you, you have a wonderful place to learn. Use mainly mono, but never let the possibility of colour escape from your mind. And look at this area in all lights – sunrise and set, sun overhead, no sun, rain – any sun and weather combination. And, always, “less is more”. Adrian
