Day 9. Melbourne.
It’s a little like looking through one of those older windows, where gravity and imprecise methods have drawn the pane downwards over time in places – you know you are seeing the world, but it’s a little warped. Lines aren’t straight; corners aren’t square. Nothing is quite right. It’s not comfortable. Yet. That’s not a bad thing – the feeling isn’t one of sadness, or discomfort. Just an awareness of change, and that things aren’t what they used to be, and the old patterns and ways of seeing don’t quite fit in this new place and space.
