One of the things that I miss most about Tasmania (apart from the air so fresh it makes your lungs ache, and then sing) is the green. Everywhere is green, and not even the same green – there are as many different greens as there are trees, and grass, and crops, and seemingly all of the other colours combined.
I miss those greens.
Today, I discovered there is green here in Melbourne. The language isn’t quite so full, and the colours not quite so fresh, but it’s still here. And seeing it made my heart ache, and then sing.
