That light is almost transcendent. I love the composition, with that iron post up front, the lime green canopy of the trees, the light on the bricks and the headlights. Then the workmen finish it perfectly. Excellent!
Thanks Lyn! I’m enjoying shooting with film at the moment in an old unmetered rangefinder. The film loves highlights (wonderful after adapting my shooting for digital to avoid overexposure!), and separating metering and exposure decisions from compositional decisions (as in, get the settings right first, and then switch to composing) has actually increased my ‘hit rate’ of shots…
