A day in the life: Pt.2
10:04:44am. Federation Square.
I arrive in the city, grey and overcast as expected. There’s an ice skating setup just down near the river, and I’m on my way to check it out. On the way there I spy the Arts Centre spire, reflected and refracted and distorted. I think it fits with the Fed Square aesthetic, all angles, lines, and jagged assemblages. I like the way the spire is so visible around this area, reflected in the river, in the windows, peeking around the corners of buildings up and down South Bank. It’s an anchor of sorts, and so it seems a good way to start my wanderings…
